It was a small showing of Worthing Striders on what is a flat start and finish in a local Hassocks school. The route takes runners through trees, across fields and takes in one or two minor hills. The views are beautiful.
Burgess Hill Runners were fantastic hosts and finishing runners got to enjoy drinks, hot dogs, cakes and bouncy castles (though I think that was for the children) as the race takes place on the same day as a local fete. Our WSFRL Rep even got to meet the Town Crier!
Great race and a big thank you to our 3 runners.
Results will be available on the WSFRL website.
The next WSFRL date is Wednesday 6 July for the Steyning AC's Roundhill Romp. Don't be put off by a hilly 10km - it is a beautiful course and it's highly unlikely you'll finish last.
Registration for this event is now open, please give Stef your entry of £3 upon signing up.
