I have to thank Alan for all his encouragement, advice and "just one more lap" at the end of our winter training sessions.
Since starting training consistently through the winter 2 years ago I have gone from mid top 10 finisher in local races to Scotland North athlete and 8th in the Championship in 2015.
So far in 2016 I've run Internationally twice, broken records set by Scottish champions, and finished 3rd at the latest Scottish championship race.
I've also recognised the importance of a good gym routine including core strength, flexibility and runners yoga.
