The Duck Pond Waddle

The Duck Pond Waddle is held by the Striders in early December of every year. For the first 100m the course is flat and concrete. The rest of the course is rural countryside with tarmac and chalk/ farm tracks. The race is around 9 miles (approximately 15 km). Drinks will be available en-route and St Johns ambulance will be in attendance.

The next race will take place on: Sunday, 7th December 2008.

Closing date for advanced application: Wednesday, 3rd December 2008.

Prizes will be given for the first six males and the first six females. All finishers will receive a memento.

All runners are to gather at the West Worthing Tennis Club prior to the event where maps and instructions can be given. Parking is available for free at the tennis club but is limited. The shower and changing facilities are also available.

The race has a limit of 350 people and entries are available by application prior to the closing date as above. If places are still available entries are available on the day of the event from the West Worthing Tennis Club. On the day entries must be received before 9.30.

All persons must be 17 and over to take part in the race. All runners enter race at their own risk. Neither the club nor West Worthing tennis club can be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss or damage. All fees are non-refundable.
